Carol Grant is a director of Grant Riches. She is a former Director of Communications at Shelter, responsible for public affairs, campaigning, media relations and policy. She was also Director of Communications at the Local Government Association, responsible for public affairs, media relations, information services and events. She has been a consultant since 1998 working for a range of clients including FTSE 100 companies through to Government departments. She has written and edited a number of books and is a regular columnist for trade magazines and websites. Karen Riches is a director of Grant Riches. She has 10 years’ senior project management experience in local government and prior to setting up Grant Riches was Business Development Director in the e-government team of Epic Group plc – the UK’s leading developer of online learning. Her clients included the Houses of Parliament, numerous government departments, the Institute of Public Finance and many local authorities. A strategic thinker, she has led most of our communications and marketing reviews and has a wealth of experience in helping organisations focus their money on the right things.
