Healthwatch England

Karen Riches was interim communications director for Healthwatch England for nine months. The launch of Healthwatch won a national award. She developed and managed core messaging, media strategy and stakeholder engagement plans. By reviewing the commissioning of web services, helped the organisation build a ‘website in a box’, rolled out free to the 150 local organisations to save them commissioning digital services separately. The saving to the sector was around £500k.
